Compliance Ratings

On 8th January 2019, we were inspected by CQC who arrived for an unannounced inspection.  We are pleased to announce that, once again, the CQC judged us as 'Good' in every area and 'Good' overall.  The subsequent inspection report was published on 23rd January 2019 and can be accessed and read by the link below.

Our latest report was, again, very complimentary across the board, with the inspector speaking to residents, the management, relatives and staff.  The inspector praised staff, in all areas, as well as the leadership, training and nurturing of staff; she witnessed the activities programme first hand; noted the warm and homely atmosphere and the splendid food, which was offered with real choice, and knowledge of the residents, and to visiting relatives.

We have a very good relationship with our CQC Inspector who covers the local area and our Home, and advises she is just an email or a telephone call away for support and advice.  We have found this to be true and appreciate the support and guidance provided on the odd occasion we have had cause to contact her.  Also, on a regular basis, our Registered Manager, Tracy, provides our Inspector with email updates regarding the Home.
